Guardians of the Civic Hall

Solar plate etching and watercolour, edition of 50

"Guardians of the Civic Hall" shows one of Leeds' iconic buildings, the civic hall, along with its beautiful gold owls that watch over milleneum square. As the traditional bird of the city, first featuring on the coat of arms in the 1600's, owls can be found all around the city centre, but nowhere in as high concentration as near the civic hall.

This print is 30cm x 43cm in portrait format, including borders. It is a printed edition of 50 on archival Fabriano Rosaspina paper, using fully lightfast inks ensuring your print stays beautiful for many years.

All of my prints are sold unframed. I am happy to discuss framing on a case by case basis, please email me if you are interested.
