A picnic at Gordale scar

Solar plate etching, edition of 50

"A picnic at Gordale scar" started life as a colour pencil drawing. I then converted it into a solar plate etching by scanning it and printing it on acetate, then exposing it on a plate. During this process the image became much more moody, which fits with the looming nature of the scar itself.

This print is 45cm x 34cm in landscape format, including borders. It is a printed edition of 50 on archival Fabriano Rosaspina paper, using fully lightfast inks ensuring your print stays beautiful for many years.

All of my prints are sold unframed. I am happy to discuss framing on a case by case basis, please email me if you are interested.
